Couple of hours

Just had a couple of hours shore fishing, first two hours after sunset, using ragworm over sand from Es Puet beach San Antonio Bay. Two hours four small (about 1 lb )Gilt Head Bream also missed a couple.

Dorado - Dolphin Fish

The Dorado or Dolphin fish is known as Mahi Mahi in Hawaii, and that was the only English these three Russian guys spoke when they walked down the pier to book a trip.Well thankfully what they wanted was what they got.

Fishing for me

Had a nice change today was out on the water just after dawn this morning and enjoyed six hours of fishing with a couple of local experienced anglers, yes fishing with them, they invited me to pick up a rod.As a guide you should not really fish yourself unless invited to do so,well I might have boated the first fish but they were soon into fish as well, landed over fifty between us in six hours, mainly Wrasse with a few assorted Bream.

Mullet

Like the earlier post on Salpa Mullet are shy but patience is rewarded when you hook into one of this size.

Salpa

Salpa; Now classified here as a game fish, they might not grow very big but they tend to be easily spooked and fight well when hooked.

Dorada

The locals call this Dorada we know it better as Gilt Head Bream.

Palometta

Another nice Palometta
